I am an experienced, business-savvy lawyer dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and innovative companies. I pride myself on my rigor and attention to detail, and my independence allows me to work very closely with my clients to help them achieve their objectives.
My practice focuses on helping growing companies build strong relationships with customers and partners, balance business opportunities with legal and regulatory risks, comply with privacy laws, resolve disputes before they mature to litigation, and navigate reputational challenges. My services include:

- negotiating commercial partnerships
- drafting and implementing customer-facing policies
- responding to legal, policy, or reputational crises
- overseeing the legal function, e.g., as outside general counsel
I love working with entrepreneurs who have taken on difficult, uncertain problems with confidence and momentum. Most recently I spent five+ years as the General Counsel of a direct-to-consumer e-commerce company backed by some of the country’s top VCs. Before that I was an associate with Hogan Lovells’ leading privacy practice, where I counseled brand-name technology and healthcare companies on complex and novel privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection issues.
